What is An Infrared Portable Sauna?
Unlike saunas of the past which used steam or hot air to heat the body, an infrared sauna, dry sauna, utilizes infrared heaters. Those heaters produce and emit an infrared, radiant heat that is absorbed by the body in the same way that the human body absorbs sunlight.
The sun produces radiant energy which is necessary for all life. However, the sun's energy produces harmful solar radiation that can do damage. Infrared saunas produce the same beneficial effects as the sun but without the harmfulness of solar radiation to provide the human body with warmth and to stimulate cardiovasicular health, increased circulation and to heal damaged tissues.
An infrared sauna is a dry sauna because it does not use steam or moist hot air to heat the body. Rather, non-UV lighting technology is used to imitate the sun and intensify its affects to warm the body naturally to produce all of the positive benefits that solar light provides to life on Earth.
Why Are Infrared Saunas Beneficial?
Saunas are well known for their detoxifying effects on the body as well as their beneficial impact on the cardiovascular system and blood circulation.
What is a Portable FAR Infrared Sauna?
FAR infrared is just one part of light of all the light emitted by the sun in its light spectrum. Far infrared cannot be seen by the eye due to longer wavelengths, but it can be felt as its heat is absorbed into the skin. The heat effects of FAR infrared is similar to that of a heat lamp, only FAR infrared goes much deeper into the skin which is why it is so effective. Portable FAR infrared sauna systems are small, one person units typically comprised of carbon fiber panels and ceramic heaters to produce and focus FAR infrared light on the body.
